Great article! Glad I took the time out to read it. It is very rare that my children get to spend time over their friends house. Since i have had a pre- teen and teenagers in the house I have strongly encouraged their friends to come to our home. I know that I can't be with my children 24/7 but talking to them daily and knowing where they are at, at all times gives me some piece of mind. They do have friends that may be going down the wrong path and I strongly agree that if you tell them that they cannot see one of those friends that they will rebel. We can just hope that what we teach them and encourage them to do, then it will rub off on their peers.
