Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about clubs and organizations to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, instill leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.

Hello I am a mother of a preteen. She has just entered her first year of middle school this past fall. She is currently a girlscout and has played tennis for the past 2 years. I am very interested in your program and would love more information. I would like to know if your program would help my daughter with leadership, confidence, self esteem issues and motivation.

    Many Thanks

Hi I work at an organization named Angelhouse Maternity Home. We are an organization that houses displaced pregnant women. Most of our ladies range in age from 18-26. I see that your program is intened for girls ages 6-18. I was wondering if you could refer me to any programs that will help promote self-esteem/ self confidence. I work with women who would really need a boost. Thanks for your help!

Could you please send more information on how we can become a part of your group. She believes this will help her build up confidence and start to love being who she is…Thanks in advance.
