By providing girls a safe space to explore, embrace and understand their unique identity and purpose, we hope to foster a dedication to emotional healing, service, cultural awareness and positive self identity.
What is the Camper Profile?

Gender: Female
Character Qualities: Open to positive cultural experiences and is eager to develop life-enhancing skills.
The selection process for prospective campers is on a first-come, first-serve basis if the above criterion is met.
NOTE: Although Camp Butterfly would like to accommodate the cultural needs of all girls; this program is specifically designed to address the emotional and cultural needs of girls of African descent. All girls are welcome to participate in our program.

Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.

I don’t think that the Old Wives’ Tales is very useful to pick the gender of your baby.I got a lot about the Natural Baby Gender Selection Methods on this web site. It helped me a lot.I definitely recommend(http://www.alals.com)to you.
