Ms. Celeste Sellers & her beautiful fourteen year old daughter, a precious princess by the name of Leondra Sellers are the Founders and Executive Directors of Teen Town. Divine Divas & Tiger Town sites are located in Atlanta, New York City and Las Vegas.
Mission
The Mission of Teen Town is to create a safe, supportive & supervised environment where Teens & Pre-Teens Come to Connect, build Character, Confidence and Compassion for themselves and others coupled with Empowerment and Esteem through Education and Encouragement. Divine Divas & Tiger Town participants enjoy exciting activities, education enrichment, trips and tours, mentoring, manners & morals, community service, sports, dance, fitness, mother-daughter and father-son socials. Divine Divas & Tiger Town, where everyone is family, serves young ladies & young gentlemen ages 6 thru16 after school. Teen Town also offers non-school day programming when school is closed for conference days, workshops and fall, winter and spring breaks. Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hope that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, improve self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.
