More Than a Pretty Face Inc’s mission is to reinvent the notion of beauty among young women, aiding then in the discovery of self- identity, delaying of sexual activity, and development of social leadership for a transformed world.
Workshops
Powerful and engaging sessions that are designed to teach and challenge young women to look deeper into where they find their identity by evaluating popular messages they have received, gaining awareness of their communities, and making leadership contributions to a hurting world regardless of being young in age.

Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.
