The mission of Teen Sircles is to enrich the lives of teen girls, between the ages of 12 and 17, by providing the life skills needed to become a productive adult and a benefit to society as a whole. They empower teens with the knowledge that they can become anything they so desire and do not have to succumb to negative vices of life.
Teen Sircles is a non-profit organization founded on the importance of critical thinking in making decisions. Members are young ladies who are interested in helping themselves and others. For more information, click the above loge to visit their website.
Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.
