Karen came in and spoke to them and give them the opportunity to make a hand scrub-she was phenomenal and the message was profound! I am so thankful to Karen and the project because the concepts reiterated what we tell them all the time-They are BEAUTIFUL!! I work in an elementary school and work as one of the sponsors for a group of 4th and 5th grade girls called Ladies of Distinction. We made a moisturizing balm with coconut oil and soy wax. My Troop had an amazing time! Karen was fantastic! Here's what some of the girls had to say after the workshop. "It smells so good"! -Javia (age 6) "You can tell that lady uses lots of her products because she is really pretty". "Did you see her skin ? It was beautiful". -Dayjah (age 10) "That was really fun". -Natayah (age 9) My Girl Scout Troop 1406 had a Peace and Beauty Workshop last night.
